FITID is the financial institution transaction ID. QuickBooks uses it to decide whether a Web Connect row is new. Duplicate IDs inside one file can produce Nothing imported. Inventing new IDs can produce duplicate register entries.
QBO Clinic groups duplicates and will not auto-rewrite them.
