What is QBO Clinic?

QBO Clinic diagnoses .qbo Web Connect files in your browser and proposes safe, reviewable repairs. It does not log into your bank or QuickBooks.

What it checks

• File type, encoding, OFX dialect, and structural completeness
• QuickBooks Online limits (350 KB and 1,000 transactions)
• Dates, amounts, FITIDs, and account metadata
• Problems that are not file-fixable (login, bank authorization, account mapping)

Compatibility labels

• Verified — re-imported on a named QuickBooks product/version
• Structurally valid — the file parses, but import is not guaranteed
• Repairable with review — patches are available
• Not file-fixable — the next step is QuickBooks or the bank
• Unsupported — outside the current parser
