Intuit documents a 350 KB cap and a 1,000-row cap for manual transaction list uploads. Crossing either limit is not something a silent splitter should “fix” by inventing new statement boundaries.
Download a shorter date range from the bank. Keep the original file. Do not strip transactions to sneak under the limit unless you are doing that as an explicit, reviewed export.
